SpletTraining combines applied academic learning and practical skills development in order to equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge to assess and manage offenders and prepare reports. During training, you'll be employed as a probation services officer (PSO). SpletYouth justice workers starting in post from June 2024 will be enrolled onto the Practitioner in Children’s Residential Care apprenticeship upon completing the initial Prison Officer training pathway. Full details regarding the apprenticeship course will be made available prior to the time of enrolment.
