WebJan 26, 2009 · HI,its not hard to straighten out the S/S lines. it will take 2 people, straighten about 2 ft,take 2 ,,2 foot pieces of 2x4 lumber.put the hardline between the 2x4,put it into a vise,tighten the vise,turn S/S lines until the 2 ft section is straight,go on tho the next 2 ft,and repeat. I'd say it doesn't do a great job with the first few inches (just the nature of the tool), but I got a 24 inch straight section of 1/4" SS line in just a few minutes.
