WebFirst things first, I don't want to be a huge bummer but using a flamethrower to clear snow doesn't really work. I have a thrower that is higher performance than the XL18 and it still doesn't clear snow worth a crap. For fun though, they are absolutely awesome. I second what was said earlier.
